New York, 25.09.25 – Zambia and the Principality of Liechtenstein have signed a Joint Communique formally establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, S.C, M.P, Minister of Foreign and International Cooperation and Her Excellency, Ms. Dominique Hasler, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport of the Principality of Liechtenstein signed the joint communique on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly on 24th September 2025.
The Meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, including strengthening collaboration under the framework of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED).
The two sides agreed to sign an agreement recognizing the Liechtenstein Development Service as a development initiative.
